• Solaia Antinori is the flagship of the winery Antinori, an award-winning wine, sought and recognized all over the world, which is produced only in the best vintages.

Solaia 2007 is a very complex wine with a solid and full-bodied structure.

VINIFICATION: Harvesting was done strictly by hand. Fermentation for each varietal (sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc), took place at a controlled temperature, in order to best preserve the olfactory characteristics and the typicity of the grapes. Malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. Then aged in French new oak barrels for approximately 18 months. The wine was subsequently blended and bottled on the estate, then aged for one more year in the bottle before being released on the market.

GRAPES: cabernet sauvignon 75%, sangiovese 20%, cabernet franc 5%

COLOUR & BOUQUET: intense ruby red in color; the aroma is fruity, intense and sweet with notes of ripe cabernet which give the wine a strong individual identity

TASTE: the tannins are soft, gentle and harmonious. The varietal notes are dominant and work together to indulge the palate with along and wonderfully persistent finish

FOOD PAIRINGS: mushrooms based first courses, roast and grilled meat

    ALCOHOL: 14,5% vol.
